Authors' Queries
Please do not submit manuscripts for our consideration without first sending a query letter to ensure that we are currently considering manuscripts of the type you intend to submit.
Query letters should be sent either to our mailing address or general email address listed in the Contact Information section above. We do not accept or read unsolicited manuscripts, but we welcome all queries.
Query Letter Content:
• Your name, address, email, and phone number
• The proposed title, genre, and audience for your book
• An "elevator pitch" explaining why people will buy your book
• A one-paragraph synopsis of the proposed book
• Your qualifications to write about the subject of your book
• One or two sentences explaining why Lionheart should publish
your book.
If your one-page query letter convinces us your book is worth considering, we will then request—and provide you with detailed instructions for preparing and submitting—a comprehensive book proposal.
Manuscript Submissions
If we have replied to your query indicating that we will consider your manuscript, please send your manuscript along with any other documents requested (cover letter, outline, synopsis, etc.) either to our mailing address in the Contact Information above or to:

We do not accept or read unsolicited manuscripts. Please submit a query letter (see above) prior to submitting any manuscript or other materials.
